There is a long and rich tradition of letter writing in the Christian faith. Much of the New Testament is comprised of Saint Paul’s letters to both churches and individuals, greeting them in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and encouraging them to stay strong in the faith. On April 30, at the Global Great Day of Service while some are packing meals others of us will be following the example of Paul in his letter writing tradition.
We will gather in room 329 to make hand-crafted cards to send to our missionaries. I am calling all scrapbooking, rubber stamping and paper folding devotees to share in creating lovely hand crafted cards with inspirational messages. The necessary materials will be provided, however, if you have stickers, a favorite rubber stamp, or any decorative scissors you may certainly bring them along. Come with a creative mind and a willing spirit to serve the Lord as we seek to encourage our missionaries on the Global Great Day of Service.
Additionally, for those who are interested in a time of instruction prior to the above mentioned event, there will be a rubber stamping and card making class held at Rubber Stamp Fantasy, 115 Church Street, just off the Marietta Square. The class meets on Thursday evening, April 28 at 6:30pm. The cost of the class is $10.
Please RSVP with your payment to:

Looking forward to being creative with all of you at either or at both of these events!
Fondly in Christ,
