Marietta First's Senior Adults programs provide Christian fellowship in our church family.
We have luncheons on a regular basis and many day trips as well as extended trips throughout the year.

THE MARIETTA SINGLES

A community-wide, non-denominational, Christian fellowship group of singles ages 50 and up. The group meets each Monday night in our Reception Hall at 6:15 p.m. for dinner (catered by the church chef). Reservations are not required and meals are $8.00 per person on first come, first serve basis. Business meetings and programs start at 7:00 p.m. Social activities and outreach programs are also offered. Contact for the Marietta Singles on Monday nights: Jo Ann England, ext. 7840.

WIDOWS & WIDOWERS MINISTRY GROUP

The WOW Ministry is a community-wide non-denominational, Christian fellowship group for Widows & Widowers of all ages. This group meets on the first (covered dish) and third (coffee and dessert) Tuesdays each month in building -A Room 104 at 6:00 p.m. This group plans activities and events for Friday and Saturday nights as well.

Our Senior Adult Catered Valentine Luncheon is Thursday, February 16 in the Family Life Hall at 11:30 a.m. Our kitchen staff will prepare a wonderful meal for us. We have a special program planned which will be presented by Dennis Aloia, a professional magician and comedian. The cost is $10.00 and reservations are due by February 13. This is going to be a lot of fun ... please join us!

We have the AARP Safe Driving Program coming up Thursday, February 23, 2012 in Room 261. This will be a one day class; 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. We will have a lunch break...please bring a sack lunch and beverage. Cost is $12.00 for AARP members (bring card #) and $14.00 for non-members. Upon completing the full session you will receive a certificate which can be redeemed for a discount on most auto insurance. Make checks payable to AARP by February 20 to confirm your reservation.

Mark your calendar now for our March Covered Dish Luncheon on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. We will meet in the Reception Hall at 11:30 a.m. March is a "Good Nutrition" month and Barbara Woodhouse, Nutritionist, will present our program. Our January luncheon reminded us that we have the "bestest" cooks ever!!! Yum, yum.
