Career Connections at FUMC

At a crossroads in your career? Find yourself searching for a new job in this tough economy? We are developing a small group that seeks to empower its members with resources throughout our community for career development and job placement. Networking, encouragement, and accountability are emphasized using a variety of curriculum and shared ideas by the group. Join our Career Connections Networking Group on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month in Room 201-b from 9 a.m. until 10 :30 a.m. We cover a variety of topics including Creating an Updated Resume, The 60 Second Elevator Pitch, Interviewing Skills, Using LinkedIn, Effective Networking, Finding Hidden Job Opportunities, and Encouragement in Difficult Times.
