The Beth Berman Memorial Fund Dinner
The Beth Berman Memorial Fund Dinner is an opportunity to celebrate our mission, learn about an area of mission emphasis, and remember our friend Beth Berman and her mission to make ministry possible. The event benefits the Beth Berman Memorial Fund which provides financial resources for people to go on mission trips.
The 2011 Beth Berman Memorial Fund Dinner will be held on August 4. We'll begin gathering at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. in the Family Life Hall.
This year's Dinner features the Lead Like Jesus movement which was established to inspire and equip people to lead like Jesus. Our featured Speaker is Ms. Phyllis Hendry who is the President and CEO of Lead Like Jesus. In most any area our travels and service work takes us, the desire on behalf of churches and community leaders is to develop leaders within the church and community. The Beth Berman Memorial Fund Dinner provides a great starting point for a focused plan to develop better leaders in our church, local, and global communities.
Join us for the 2011 Beth Berman Memorial Fund Dinner and you will discover leadership truths and resources for growing in your leadership while you help make ministry possible.
The Lead Like Jesus Movement
The Lead Like Jesus movement is based on the believe that leadership is an influence process – any time you influence the thinking, behavior or development of another person, you are demonstrating leader behavior. So if you are a parent, CEO, pastor, Sunday School leader, electrician, accountant, you are a leader and following the greatest leadership role model only makes sense. Lead Like Jesus was founded to serve you in your desire to be a Jesus-like leader. The Lead Like Jesus ministry is not called to run ministries or businesses or start churches, we are called to train the leaders who do so that God is glorified, people are served, and organizations are more effective in impacting the world for the Kingdom of God.
Our 2011 Speaker

Lead Like Jesus. With a goal to facilitate a transformational experience in the lives of people, Phyllis affirms that
Lead Like Jesus is a movement, not another leadership program.
Previously, Phyllis served as president of the non-profit National Science Center in Augusta, GA where she led in raising more than $30 million for this highly-acclaimed interactive facility. Phyllis has more than 30 years of business and leadership experience, including financial management, human resource management, public relations, and sales.
She and her husband, Buddy, enjoy a blended family of four adult children and eight grandchildren.
