Art From The Heart

Art from the Heart is an annual fund raising event benefiting Marietta First United Methodist Church Weekday Ministry program.  This evening event includes a silent auction of fine art, sought-after items and services, and, most importantly, artwork created by each Weekday class especially for this event. There is also a raffle of over 50 items.  You won’t want to miss this event or the opportunity to take home a wonderful piece of art.

To make the event a success, we need your help!
    •    Have you re-decorated and have a nice piece of art that no longer works in your home?
    •    Do you know an artistic person?  Notice I didn’t say famous artist; all art is welcome.  If you like the piece, it is likely someone else does too.
    •    We accept all types of art for donation (paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, pottery, jewelry, etc.)
    •    Art-related services such as photography and mural services
    •    Do you have a special talent that is valuable to others (interior design, meal services, jewelry making, handyman services, plumbing services, etc.)?
    •    Gift cards to restaurants, spas, salons and other businesses
    •    Do you have or have a way to get things for the raffle such as purses, sports memorabilia, local attraction tickets, cabin or timeshare rental?

 

 
Childcare is available for $10/child by advance reservation by 3/20/12.
