Tournament Information
The entry fee is $110 per player and includes golf, range balls, door prizes and a boxed lunch.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. with a putting contest at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m.
Format is four-person scramble.
Prizes for 1st & 2nd place teams for both low net & low gross.
Prizes for the 2 closest-to-pin on par 3 holes.
Prize for longest drive hole.
Multiple holes-in-one will be honored.
Door prize drawing after the tournament.

The Big Golf Secret

Although the October 10 MFUMC Golf Tournament will feature fabulous prizes including a new car for a hole in one and lots of door prizes, putting contest prizes, and longest drive and closest to the pin prizes, the goodies aren't the most important thing you will take away from the tournament. The tournament benefits some great local charities, but that doesn't rank at the top of the list for value that the tournament brings. Even the fun and relaxation of getting away from the office for a few hours isn't generally regarded as the best part of the event. "People tell us that the best part of playing in our tournament is getting a chance to connect with other church members and share with them about what is going on in one another's ministry," according to 2011 Tournament Chair, Brian McNair. Brian's foursome last year resulted in two ministries being launched, a playing partner joined a small group of another, and plans to undertake a career development group were hatched.
