MUST Family Easter Basket Project

This Easter the Lightseekers Sunday School Class will work with the Kindergarten through 3rd Grade Sunday school classes to give a different type of Easter basket to our neighbors in need- baskets filled with toiletries as part of the MUST ministry Family Easter Basket Project.   Between 100-120 families will receive baskets during Holy Week.  Our goal is to provide 50 baskets from our class. 

 

Each basket will be filled with essential toiletries which should be left unwrapped. There will be some variation between baskets, but we would like most baskets to have the items listed below:

 

    •    Oral care products including Toothpaste, Dental floss and mouth wash

 

    •    Deodorant

 

    •    Soap

 

    •    Shampoo (VO5 or Suave preferred) for children and adults

 

    •    Feminine hygiene products

 

    •    Shaving cream and razors

 

    •    Lotion

 

    •    Small box of chocolate (less than 1 pound)

 

Our children's Sunday School classes will be participating by making Easter cards and donating the following items:

 

    •    Kindergarten: chocolate (less than 1pound)

 

    •    1st grade:  full size toothpaste (adult or child)

 

    •    2nd grade: full size shampoo (VO5 or Suave preferred)

 

    •    3rd grade:  shaving cream and razors

 

Items can be dropped off in the Reception Hall on or before April 10.
