Parent's Day Out
Need to go for a run, to the store, or just hang out with friends? We are pleased to offer Parent's Day Out on the nursery hall!
Hours are 9:00 to 2:00, Monday - Thursday, and the cost is $5/hour. Late pick ups will be charged $1/minute over alloted time.
To make a reservation call 770-429-7850, ext. 7860. Drop-ins are accepted if space is available; however we do not accept anyone after 12:00.
General Information
Snacks are provided for children 17 months and older. Lunch is served from 11:30 to 12:30 daily, please provide lunch if your child will be with us during that time. Please provide bottles for infants. If your child has food allergies, use a "food allergy" sticker from the nursery desk to alert us. No peanut products or marshmallows are allowed on the nursery hall.
You can help us by...
1. Labeling ALL your child's belongings
2. Pack a change of clothes
3. Bring disposable diapers, "Pull-Ups" are more difficult to change.
4. Set up a "good bye" routine. Your show of confidence will help your child adjust more quickly.
5. Pick your child up by 1:00 to avoid late charges.
State Guidelines - children are not allowed to stay in the PDO program for more than 8 hours/week and 4 hours/day. This is separate from church activities.
Children cannot attend PDO if they have any of these health issues:
- Fever - within 24 hours
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Any symptoms of childhood disease, such as chicken pox, hand/foot/mouth, etc.
- Sore throat or croup
- Any unexplained rash
- Any skin infection such as pink eye, ringworm, etc.
