Younger Adult NewsHow Young is a Young Adult?
FUMC is proud to have a large group of young adult members and visitors! How young is young adult, you ask? Our definition is wide and includes individuals from college to late 30's, both single and married, with and without children. Whether you are already active and involved, or you are new and looking to meet people and find your place, we would love for you to plug into our young adult programming and help us grow. With activities ranging from Sunday School to Bible Studies, to social gatherings and service projects, there is a place for you! Upcoming Events
Second Sunday of every month: Singles Luncheon at Whitlock’s Grill. Meet in the hospitality room after 11:15 worship or meet us at the restaurant at 12:30 pm. 990 Whitlock Ave. Marietta, GA 30064 Next Luncheon: April 10th Thursday Morning Young Adult Study: 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. Join this group of women as we work through a book and connect it to our faith and daily life. Previous books include “The Shack” and “40 Days Living the Jesus Creed.” Childcare provided. Great Day of Service: Saturday, April 30th, 7:45 a.m. – Noon. Our young adults will be working together on two service projects here at the church. Join us for breakfast and then meet someone new while making a difference here in Marietta. Summer College Activities: Beginning early May We welcome our college students home for the summer! Weekly dinners at Marietta Pizza Company, Outings for Paintball and Ultimate Frisbee, and cookouts at various homes. Stay tuned for specific dates and times.
