THANK YOU CONNECTION YARD SIGNS
Thank you for your support for first responders yard signs! We raised over $700 in proceeds to benefit “Caring for Kennestone”, a group founded to support local hospitals and local restaurants. R
You can help local medical professionals stay safe by making and sharing masks.
You can also help by contributing materials such as elastic, wire, muslin or printed cotton fabric. (Elastic must be ¼” wide or less. Scraps as small as 3 1/2 “ can be used.) Arrangements can be made to pick up materials from you during shelter in place restrictions.
(The wire inside the mask is very important to keep the mask from slipping down off the face.)
There are other patterns on Pinterest and YouTube.
Arrangements can be made to pick up completed masks during shelter in place restrictions.
In order to maintain only 10 persons in the building, it is very important that you register to donate.

New CDC guidelines call for volunteers to wear a face mask at all times while in the workplace; homemade cloth face coverings are allowed. Please bring a face mask/covering with you for all assignments. Reusable masks/coverings should be washed in hot water after each use. Please watch this video tutorial on how to carefully wear and remove—and especially to put it back on the same side if you take it off. https://www.nationaljewish.org/patients-visitors/patient-info/important-updates/coronavirus-information-and-resources/health-tips/how-to-put-on-a-surgical-mask. The Marietta City School Nurse on site can help you if you have questions.
