The YACA ministry is hosting a 4–week teaching series every Thursday in September, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. We will focus on different areas of health in our lives. There will be guest speakers that are qualified in their respective areas. We will be learning about the foundations of financial, physical, mental and spiritual health.

Thomas Long has worked in the wealth management profession since 2022 and is currently a Financial Planning Associate at SignatureFD, an independent, fiduciary RIA, focusing on investment, tax, and cash flow planning to help clients make sound decisions with their money. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a concentration in Financial Planning, from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master of Professional Studies in Wealth Management from Columbia University. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®).

Davon Smith is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Mariner, a national registered investment advisor (RIA) that provides comprehensive wealth management, financial planning, and investment advisory services to individuals and families. Since entering the industry in 2022, Davon has focused on helping clients build sound, personalized financial plans. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a concentration in Financial Planning from the Pamplin College of Business. Davon is passionate about guiding others toward financial confidence and long-term stability, both in his professional work and within his church community.

Tori Tatum, Founder and Owner of Counseling Reimagined | September 10, 6:00 p.m.
Tori Tatum, LPC, is the founder and owner of Counseling Reimagined, where she specializes in helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, and life transitions through a holistic, nervous system-informed approach. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, she integrates evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic practices to support lasting healing. Tori is passionate about making mental health accessible and practical. Through therapy, education, workshops, and community events, she empowers people to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.

Matt Rooke, Highschool Athletic Director/Middle & Highschool Teacher at Eastside Christian | September 17, 6:00 p.m.
Matt Rooke is a 41-year-old educator, husband, father, and lifelong Marietta resident. He earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a master's degree in Biomechanics from Auburn University. Originally planning to become a physical therapist, God led him into education, where he now teaches middle and high school anatomy, math, and weight training. Matt has been married to his wife, Caroline, for 15 years, and together they are raising four wonderful children: Jude, Titus, Samuel, and Rosemary. Passionate about exercise, faith, and investing in young people, Matt also enjoys playing pickleball and strives to honor Jesus in every area of life.

Rev. Dr. Lahronda Little, Associate Pastor at Marietta First United Methodist Church | September 24, 6:00 p.m.
Rev. Dr. Lahronda Little is an ordained elder serving as Associate Pastor at Marietta First United Methodist Church in Marietta, Georgia. She is committed to fostering healing and wholeness in the lives of individuals and communities through pastoral ministry, teaching, and writing. She holds a PhD in Pastoral Theology and Spiritual Care from Emory University, where she teaches master's and Doctor of Ministry courses. Her scholarship focuses on Wesleyan theology, Africana religious studies, spirituality, and interreligious and intercultural encounters. A sought-after speaker and workshop leader, she is the author of A Womanist Holistic Soteriology: Stitching Fabrics with Fine Threads and Lessons from the Garden.
