You are invited to volunteer on Saturday, March 28, when over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce will be delivered to the church by the Atlanta Community Food Bank to be distributed to community members via a drive-thru mobile pantry plan. The purpose of this program is to quickly distribute large volumes of food primarily produce, directly to underserved communities. Each mobile pantry serves approximately 250 families.
Volunteers are needed to bag the produce items into more family sized portions and distribute to neighbors on the same day. The Mobile Pantry pick up drive-thru opens for distribution at 4:30 p.m., until all the food is gone.
