
Beth Berman Dinner & Silent Auction
Help support local and global communities and missions with the Beth Berman Mission Fund. We will join together on Thursday, November 14 for dinner and a silent auction to raise funds for our mission trip scholarship fund, our Good Samaritan Community Ministry, and feeding and education programs in Marietta, Chimbote, Peru, and Fairbanks Alaska.
Our speaker this year is Rev. Ken Cross who served as Associate Minister for Youth and Christian Education at MFUMC from 2003-2009. Ken will share insight into serving in ministry with Beth Berman and how her legacy of making ministry possible lives on through the church's mission.

Auction items are being accepted now through October 25th. Auction items wish list: vacation home get-aways, gift cards, electronics, tickets to sporting events, local artists' photos or paintings, floral arrangements, hand crafted items, food items, services, gift baskets and heirlooms.

Costa Rica Family Mission Trip Interest Session
Come join an interest session from the Global Missions of MFUMC to learn about the Costa Rica Family Mission Trip, designed for families with children ages 6 and up, planned for the Fall Break of 2024. Information meetings will be held on two dates: September 3rd or October 8th at 12:30 pm in the Library. Register HERE.

Reserve your place for the Costa Rica Family Mission Trip departing the Fall Break of 2024. The trip is open to families with children ages 6 and up. Estimated cost is $2000 - $2500 dependent on airfare. Scholarships are available. REGISTER HERE

Have supper with Marin and Lorena Gunbardhi, missionaries working in Albania. Learn about the opportunities we have to work alongside them and the impact mission teams and partners can have on sharing the Gospel around the world. Dinner will be served.

Congregational Care - Flower Deliveries
The Congregational Care Ministry serves to create hope, community, and care. By providing flowers to church and community members experiencing illness, recovery, death and birth or in need of day brightening.

Passport to the World: Supper with Natasha
Share supper with Natasha Schedrivaya, a missionary partner to Russia on Wednesday, November 16 at 5:15 p.m. in the library. Hear about the transformational work of sharing the Gospel with people who have never heard the name of Jesus. Natasha works in remote villages where hope is often in short supply. REGISTER HERE
Natasha is reaching the unreached 120 nationalities of Russia and training them to reach their own people. Her vision is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the remote areas where people have never heard the Gospel yet through: Village evangelism, starting home churches and training more missionaries.
As President of the Calvary Fellowship of Churches of Russia, Natasha is overseeing churches in Russia, training national missionaries, conducting mission schools and leadership seminars, women’s conferences and village youth camps.
Natasha Schedrivaya accepted Jesus as her personal Savior in 1990. Called into the full time ministry in 1995 as the first traveling woman preacher in the former Soviet Union. In 1998 God gave Natasha a vision to reach villages among the 120 unreached nationalities of Russia which have never heard the Gospel.

Family Promise Information Session
In 2023, MFUMC will join other churches to provide temporary shelter for families while they develop sustainable income and housing. There are many opportunities to get involved with our Family Promise Ministry. Learn more about the program and how you can help on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the library or on Sunday, October 30 at 12:30 p.m. in the library.

Peru Mission Trip
Come along as we share God’s love with the People of Peru. The projects will include a medical clinic and home construction. All levels of experience and ability are welcome.

Come join in on the conversation regarding our Global Missions Ministry. Discussion will include upcoming mission trips, cultivating opportunities to share God’s love and care abroad and continuing to grow our relationships together in Christ.

MUST Ministries Summer Lunch
Join us every Thursday from June 2 through July to pack 500 meals and snacks with the MUST Summer Lunch Program. This family-friendly event is a great way to provide food to children who go hungry when school is out.
Each Thursday, volunteers are packing 100 bags. Each bag contains 10 drinks, 5 breakfast items, 5 lunch items, and 5 snack items. That's 25 items per bag. Presently we have plenty of cereal, granola bars, cookies, and fruit cups. The urgent need is for lunch items and drinks. The items should be easily accessible for children. Cans should be the small individual portions and have pop tops. Drinks need to be the small bottles of water, juice boxes or pouches. Donations should be marked for MUST SUMMER LUNCH. I will work on a separate, designated area for drop offs.
