All 6th-8th graders are invited to join us for dinner at Three Amigos and a pickleball tournament at Marietta FUMC on March 21st from 6-9 PM. Drop off and pick up will be at Marietta FUMC Welcome Center.
We will supply pickleball racquets if your youth does not have one. If your youth wants to attend but not play pickleball, that is okay, too!
Details:
The cost is 5 dollars per kid, which will go towards supporting the youth ministry.
Your youth will also need to bring money for dinner at Three Amigos.

All High Schoolers are invited to join us for Fusion Worship night on Monday, October 14th from 7-8pm in the Lower Room!

If your High School student is interested in going on our Spring Break Mission trip to Costa Rica, make sure to attend our interest meeting on October 13th at 12:30 in the Lower Room!

Confirmation Starts Sunday, September 8 | All rising 7th graders are invited to join us as we step into what it means to be a Christian and specifically a Methodist! Our Confirmation program is for students in 7th grade or students in higher grades who have not yet been through Confirmation. We will have an amazing team of youth staff, clergy, and confirmation coaches that will be pouring into your student throughout the entire confirmation program. REGISTER HERE

All current 6th-12th graders are invited to join us for a day at Six Flags on June 23rd from 1:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.!
Drop off and pick up will be at the Lower Room at Marietta FUMC. Drop off is at 1PM and pick up will be at 8:30 p.m.

If you have a RISING 6th grader, we would love for them to join us for our Fusion Rising 6th Grader outing on June 21st from 5:30-9PM. We will walk from MFUMC to the Marietta Market for dinner, then we will take the church buses to “Adventure Air,” an awesome trampoline park located in Kennesaw! The cost of registration is $26, this only covers the cost of Adventure Air so please send money with your child for dinner at the market on the day of. Drop off and pick up will be at the Lower Room (youth space) at Marietta FUMC. REGISTER HERE

On Sunday, August 6 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in our beautiful Park on Polk, we will have a Youth (grades 6-12) Back to School Prayer Event! We will enjoy a live band, hamburgers hotdogs, guest speakers!

Join us for Safe Sanctuaries training! This training will equip you with an understanding of the responsibilities and commitments of serving in various ministry areas and review the policies and procedures of Safe Sanctuaries.

All members who serve in ministry areas where they interact with children, youth, or vulnerable adults are welcome to attend. If you are interested in serving in any of those ministry areas, this is the first step.

Our Chapel Choir (6-12th grade) has established a partnership of music and prayer with Murphy-Harpst Children’s Center, a facility in Cedartown that provides housing, safety, healing, education, and spiritual care to abused children of Georgia. We will make music; teach music or work on facility needs; and lead worship with elementary and middle school-aged residents. REGISTER HERE

We are excited to recognize and celebrate our youth who are graduating from high school on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Our graduating seniors will be recognized at the 9:00am and 11:15am services. Additionally, we will have a lite breakfast in the Lower Room during the Sunday school hour (10:10am - 11:00am) for the Seniors and their families.

Their photo will be placed in our Senior Class 2023 booklet. Email your senior picture directly to Administrative Assistant, Jada Cowans (jadacowans@mariettafumc.org) no later than April 23, 2023. Please send the original picture file (not a picture of a picture).
